I keep hearing bout this 42 age, that it's THE age and not the decade marking one—where you're finally middle age, and your body will also know peri-menopause and so on. I turned 40 last summer, and somehow, I dread 42 now more than I did before 40! XD

I am also 42 and laughed aloud at the beret. Just bought myself one, in fact. Never worn it out.
It does not help that when I tried it on at home my kid laughed, pointed at me, and said, "Pumpkin."
Pumpkins always ruining berets for the rest of us.
